Stargazing Night at Royal Golf La Bagnaia: an evening under the stars
On Friday 19th June, the practice area at Royal Golf La Bagnaia was transformed for the first time into an open-air natural observatory. Far from city lights and immersed in the silence of the Tuscan countryside, the Club hosted the inaugural edition of Stargazing Night, an evening dedicated to guided stargazing.
The experience began with a buffet aperitif on the panoramic terrace of Il Rosmarino Bar & Restaurant, before moving to the practice area for the guided observation session. With the support of two expert guides, guests learned to identify the main constellations visible in this season, discovering the Summer Triangle, formed by some of the brightest stars in the summer sky.
Among the highlights of the night, the Moon, Jupiter and Venus offered a particularly striking celestial display, while the observation of Vega, the bright blue star of the Lyra constellation and one of the most luminous stars in the northern sky, captivated all participants. The evening also offered glimpses of distant galaxies and nebulae, silent reminders of the vastness and beauty of the universe.
This first edition marked a new experience for Royal Golf La Bagnaia, born from the desire to offer something beyond golf itself: the opportunity to experience the destination in a completely new and unexpected way, within a truly unique landscape setting.
Following the strong enthusiasm from guests, we are pleased to confirm that the second edition of Stargazing Night will take place on Thursday 9th July.
Same location, same sky, with new stars to discover.
Reservations are now open.
